Warmth of Winter Facebook & YouTube Live

Capital District Digital hosted the Colonie Senior Service Centers Warmth of Winter live studio event. The Warmth of Winter is our annual community event to help seniors stay warm. Each year this event raises funds to help defray the cost of heating the homes of seniors and assist them in repairing and maintaining their heating systems. Winter is especially challenging for those on fixed incomes which is why Colonie Senior Service Centers, Inc. (CSSC) reaches out to the community for support. In addition to helping with heating bills, funds are allocated to help seniors repair and maintain their heating systems.

(BCNI) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization recently created as the result of a merger between two well-established not-for-profits based in the City of Schenectady, Better Neighborhoods Inc. and the Community Land Trust of Schenectady. BCNI has a critical role in Schenectady’s citywide and comprehensive smart growth plan as the lead organization focused on neighborhood renewal, capital development and related services including housing counseling and financial literacy. BCNI originated in response to expanding opportunities arising from the rapid economic resurgence of the downtown Schenectady’s central business

Right before Christmas 2020, I asked Capital District Digital to design my company's website. The two co-founders, Anthony and Kaila, promised to finish in two weeks. I was impressed by this delivery date, especially given my request for them to use different photos, background colors, font colors, and specifically, the color purple. Over the course of their work, I made a few changes, which Kaila happily complied with. On Jan 4, 2021, Kaila completed all work and I happily accepted my new website. It was exactly what I wanted. In 2017 Capital District Digital revamped out old out dated website. Wadetours.com was so old school, customers weren't able to book tours online and we were losing business because of this. The changes they brought into our site were incredible, it no longer limited our customers to book during business hours and within weeks of the new site, we saw business sales increase. In January 2020, Capital District Digital mentioned to us that they had a new idea for a new design with more features and an easier way of checkout. Within 12 hours of the new site being launched we received 5 online reservations, 2 of these reservations were new customers who had never traveled before! I cannot thank Capital District Digital enough for the continuous maintenance, ideas and advise with the site. Anthony and Kaila are truly incredible to work with!
